NYPIRG and dozens of other partner organizations will be in subway stations and other locations throughout New York City hosting voter registration drives. Media wishing to cover these events should call or email the CFB’s Public Relations Unit at (212) 409 -1773 or press@nyccfb.info.

Follow all the action on NVRD on social media using the hashtag #VoterRegistrationDay. New Yorkers who want to register to vote should visit voting.nyc today.

Nearly 1 million citizens of voting age in New York are not registered to vote. In 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. We must work together to make sure that no voter is left out in 2016.
