NYC Celebrates National Voter Registration Day on September 20, 2022

Community organizations across New York City will be holding more than 50 voter registration drives and voter engagement events on Tuesday, September 20, to celebrate National Voter Registration Day. An estimated 78,000 city residents will turn 18 and become eligible to vote in 2022.
NYC Votes, the voter engagement initiative of the New York City Campaign Finance Board, joins with the Public Advocate's office, the NYC Civic Engagement Commission, NYPIRG, Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, Queens Public Library, YMCA of Greater New York City, Headcount, Faith in New York, Bronx Independent Living Services, Woodside on the Move, the Unified Political Association and other partner organizations to urge New Yorkers to get registered or update their voter registration before the election on November 8, 2022.
