NYC Votes Announces Events for National Voter Registration Day

NYC Votes announces that a full slate of voter registration events will be held across the city on Tuesday, September 25th, as part of National Voter Registration Day. NYC Votes will partner with dozens of advocacy organizations, public libraries, private businesses, and other government agencies to register all eligible voters ahead of the 2018 general election on Tuesday, November 6th.  

With the help of our partners, NYC Votes aims to help thousands of New Yorkers register to vote on this single day of action. The deadline to register to vote is October 12th. Registration forms are available in 16 languages by visiting Voting.NYC and clicking "Voter Registration."

  • Medgar Evers College with WBLS and Bob Lee
    11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    1650 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, New York
    Join the festivities with the WBLS street team, win prizes and get on the voter rolls!
     
  • Brooklyn College with Hot97 and DJ Enuff
    12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
    2900 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, New York (West Quad)
    Voter registration, music, giveaways, youth initiatives, and other attractions

  • Public Libraries - all public library locations will have voter registration events. Find your local branch: The New York Public LibraryQueens LibraryBrooklyn Public Library
     
  • Patagonia - The outdoor clothing retailer will hold voter registration drives at each of its four locations in New York City.
     
  • YMCA of Greater New York - The YMCA will have voter registration forms at each of its 22 locations in New York City. Find a location near you.
