As a Community Board Member of the City
of New York for
the last six-years, I have been working to enhance
the delivery of “City Services (For example:
police, sanitation, health, parks, transportation)”
to raise the “quality-of-life” for the
people the Bronx. Today, the 13th Council District
is facing the greatest challenges to its survival.
“Block-busting” is at our doors. “We
need to take stock in our Community.”
SEMENTILLI ON TAXES:
Housing tax reeducation is the answer to stabilizing
our Community. Create “Housing Zones”
in the same manner as economic zones to allow
homeowner to take advantage of the same “tax
breaks” now given to corporations. “LETS
TAKE STOCK IN OUR COMMUNITY.”
Reduce the illegal tax known as the New York City
Water Bill. This bill must be eventually phased
out to ensure that our community stays strong.
SEMENTILLI ON EMPLOYEMENT:
As a “Union Member ”, I will stop all
privatization efforts by NYC. The middle class,
blue-collar community is the foundation our Town.
To privatize any of the City’s Union jobs means
the destruction of the middle class. I will never
let that happen.
SEMENTILLI ON CRIME:
The Second Amendment gives the people the authority
to make citizens a “peace officer” who
is duty bound to protect and support the law and
order. Therefore, we can increase the New York
City Police Department to 100,000 officers by
upgrading the “Auxiliary Police Unit”
to full “Police Officer Status.” We
all need to be involved to solve the problem.
