This election will result in great change
in our City’s leadership. Our new leaders must
be experienced and possess the skills required
to affect change. Juan D. Martinez is that candidate.
As President of Community School District 14,
he has led educational efforts in the districts
26 schools, serving over 18,000 students. As Chairperson
of Woodhull’s Community Board he has succeeded
in improving health services at the hospital and
it’s 16 clinics working closely with elected officials,
especially our current Council member Victor L.
Robles.
As President and CEO of PROGRESS, Inc. he has
directed this citywide agency in assisting and
training community based organizations developing
public and private partnerships, resulting in
millions of dollars for much needed services to
our community.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will fight hard for a better
Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant and
Greenpoint.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will continue to lead the fight
for quality public education.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will work to protect our seniors,
increasing funding to senior centers making sure
seniors receive the services and respect they
deserve.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will ensure access to quality
public healthcare.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will continue his commitment
to youth by expanding services.
JUAN D. MARTINEZ will be tough on crime and lead
the efforts to improve community-police relations.

stations in our community.
