I’ve chosen to live in Brooklyn and raise
my family here. My wife is a public school teacher
and my daughter Gabriella will be attending school
shortly. We live in a wonderful area with parks,
libraries, good schools, accessible transportation,
great shopping and responsive City services.
The quality of life in the 44th C.D. is adequate
in comparison to other neighborhoods in the City.
In order to keep our district stable and viable
we need to ensure that our representative in the
City Council understands our needs and represents
all of the constituents of the Council District.
To ensure that our Council District remains
viable we need to;
- ensure that serious crimes continue to decline
and petty crimes begin to decline,
- ensure that our schools offer the best possible
education to all children,
- ensure that parks, libraries, public transportation
and streets are maintained
- encourage affordable housing with tax abatements
and incentives for tenants and developers,
- ensure that heating, electric and gas prices
become competitive,
- provide additional services for our senior
population.
I want to keep our neighborhoods strong and stable;
where decent hardworking people want to raise their
families.
