1. What is the most important issue in Council District 04 you would address if elected?
Creating a better mass transit system, including in the area around Grand Central; fighting for a more stable and affordable future for Stuyvesant Town/Peter Cooper Village; addressing school overcrowding; working to address issues that affect our quality of life from Turtle Bay and midtown to the Upper East Side; and promoting sound and responsible development that addresses our infrastructure needs upfront.
2. What other important issues would you address if elected?
Working to support environmental initiatives to make New York a greener city; fighting for reproductive rights and health; creating more openness and accountability in City government; protecting the rights of tenants and consumers; and addressing income inequality.
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I am a life-long resident of this Council District, and have a clear understanding of the needs of our neighborhood. I also have a skilled constituent service operation that delivers results; a proven record of legislative accomplishments; and the independence to take positions based on their merits.
