I was born to immigrant
parents, who came to this country in search of the
American Dream. I was raised by them to believe
that the principle function of government is to
serve the people. Your trust and votes are earned,
not inherited. We MUST have the courage to
stand up to Special Interests and the Professional
Politicians and put the PEOPLE FIRST!!!!
All of my adult life I’ve been an advocate for the
public. As a Northeast Queens Civic Leader, I have
worked tirelessly to protect and safeguard our homes,
improve our Quality of Life, beautify our
Neighborhoods, insure that our municipal service
needs are met, and assist our seniors to make their
golden years as happy, carefree, and fulfilling
as possible. Whether it was beautifying our
communities; fighting the utility companies
and the city on misguided burdensome policies; insuring
that we get our fair share of municipal services,
stemming the invasion of Community Facilities;
organizing community-minded events that promote
family values; fighting Illegal Occupancy;
coaching our kids in Little League; or forcing
the city to finally solve a major flooding problem
and build the much acclaimed $160 million Ravine
Project, I’ve tried my best to make our communities
a better place to live for my family and yours.
I think I’ve done that!!!! I want to use
the invaluable experiences and success I’ve enjoyed
here as a civic leader, use my advocacy skills as
a former prosecutor, and put those experiences and
skills to work for you in the City Council.
I want the same things for my family and children
that you want for your family: safe streets, quality
education, respect and dignity for our seniors and
veterans.
Together we can make a Difference!!!!
