I have worked for many years
to improve our city and our neighborhoods on issues
we all care about. I have been a leader in the
fight to save Queens public libraries from city
budget cuts. I was the Deputy Field Director for
“Clean Money, Clean Elections”, which
led to New York City’s strict campaign finance
rules including a ban on corporate contributions.
I am a fighter for increased funding for funding
public school construction. I am also an advocate
for more park space in the district. I will be
a new voice for the new City Council representing
Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Woodside, Lefrak City,
Rego Park, Corona, and East Elmhurst. I am a candidate
with energy, leadership, and a commitment to community
service.
