CFB Accessibility and Language Access

Accessibility

The NYC Campaign Finance Board is committed to ensuring its digital content is accessible to and usable by people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. We are working to ensure our digital content is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our digital content. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility issues by using the Website Accessibility Feedback Form.

If you need assistance accessing a particular program or service, please reach out to the NYC Campaign Finance Board’s Disability Services Facilitator at 212-409-1800 or access@nyccfb.info.

Assessment Approach

The NYC Campaign Finance Board assesses the accessibility of its digital content through self-evaluation.

Language Access

Local Law 30 of 2017 (LL30) requires City agencies that provide direct public services to develop and implement a plan that outlines current and future language access services. The CFB’s 2024 Language Access Implementation Plan (LAIP) outlines the agency's plans to effectively engage with individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) over the next three years. The LAIP demonstrates the CFB’s commitment to providing consistent, inclusive, and equitable access to the democratic process for all New Yorkers, regardless of language.
