Brad Hoylman is a different
kind of candidate for City Council:
- Brad Hoylman is the only candidate in
the race who has released detailed plans
on improving our public schools, saving and
building more affordable housing, responding
to the needs of seniors, working families and
people with disabilities, and protecting our
environment--all available at www.bradhoylman.com
or by calling 212-343-1544.
- His willingness to stick his neck out
and do what’s right sets him apart. From
his lawsuit against NYU to save the historic
Poe House, to his Canal Street study on air
pollution and traffic congestion, to his work
for the tenants of Independence Plaza, Brad
Hoylman has a rock-solid record of standing
up for downtown.
- Brad grew up the youngest son of a working
class family with six kids, went on to become
a Rhodes Scholar, and paid his own way through
Harvard Law School. His unique background
instilled in him a belief that government, at
its best, can make a positive difference in
people’s lives.
- Brad has been endorsed by more City Council
members than any of his opponents. He has
also been endorsed by the Village Independent
Democrats, the Gay and Lesbian Independent Democrats,
and the Lower Manhattan Alliance for Political
Action.
On election day, it’s your vote that matters. Brad
Hoylman hopes to earn your vote based on his substantive
community record and his detailed plans for the
future.
