Candidate Statement
Since getting elected in 2013 to represent the 25th Assembly District, I have been focused on serving Queens' day to day needs, improving access to government services, and fighting for key quality of life issues in our community. In Albany, I am an outspoken advocate for working and middle-class families, immigrant communities, seniors, and students. I have sponsored and passed legislation aimed at expanding government transparency, strengthening the state’s workforce development system, modernizing voting rights, and protecting New York's environment. As your Assemblywoman, I look forward to working side by side with Queens residents to be a strong voice in Albany on issues facing our community.
