I want to be the Councilmember
of the 45th District for one reason: to help improve
service and solve problems that our residents face.
My success and accomplishments were made possible
by taking advantage of opportunities that this
great country and city offer. I want to fight
to make it possible for every person in the district
to have every opportunity to get a better education,
a higher paying job and share in the American
dream of prosperity. I want children to get a
good education and have the curriculum, computer
training and other tools to prepare them for any
educational opportunity, profession or challenge
that may lie ahead.
I take pride in serving the people of the community.
I consider it my duty to give back some of what
I have been blessed with. I can continue to serve
best, as a Councilmember. Then, I can get the
resources, influence and contacts to bring changes
to make the district a better place to live and
raise a family. I don’t say take from Peter to
give to Paul. I mean, return more of the taxes
we pay, to vitalize our district like some other
districts.
Since becoming State Committeeman in 1992, I
have dedicated myself to helping people who had
problems with Education, Housing, Immigration,
Childcare, Healthcare, Schools and much more.
I worked closely with Community Boards, Elected
officials, Agencies and individuals who give tremendous
support and inspiration. My dismay is that the
district has been neglected by those elected to
do the job. Don’t make the same mistake again.
Put me in the City Council and I will be the
servant of the people. My office will be open
to listen to you and be partners with you for
a better 45th Council District. Vote for me on
September 11.
