Dear Voter, the record
is clear:
The Republicans and Democrats have both failed
you for over a century. (EX: it took them 150
years to give women the right to vote!)
They’ve taken trillions of your tax dollars and
guaranteed you nothing in return, while padding
the pockets of their cronies and themselves. (EX:
the current mayor and city council gave themselves
45% and 75% pay raises respectively while slashing
city services and stiffing teachers, cops, and
the rest of the municipal work force.) (FYI: Many
public libraries don’t open until 1 pm!)
Here’s a perfect symbol of just how much the
Republicrats care about the little people: the
richest city on Earth has no benches at its bus
stops. (Of course, politicians don’t ride the
bus and so they don’t care about basic quality
of life issues that could be easily fixed.)
The city’s annual budget is an unbelievable $40,000,000,000
yet none of the Republicrats can repave streets,
empty public garbage cans before they overflow,
get the crappy payphones to work, build clean
and free public bathrooms, or solve a million
other daily problems.
My neighborhood (L.E.S.) is as filthy with litter,
shabby graffiti, rats, and crime as it was 10
years ago, despite the phony statistics of City
Hall. (Come see for yourself.)
And this is why I am running for mayor.
My plans to clean up our government and fix most
of our problems are more comprehensive than any
of my opponents. (Ask the Republicrats what they’re
going to do about the mountains of garbage bags
clogging our sidewalks.)
The Democrat and Republican Machines are out
of touch with us little people and I want to change
this. (EX: I think the mayor should not live in
a mansion paid for by YOU. Politicians
should, and will, pay their OWN rent, just like
the rest of us.)
Please visit my website, MayorBrodeur.com, and
compare it to my opponents’. My “100 INNOVATIONS
FOR NYC“ is clearly superior to the Republicrats’
platform, and if you agree, vote for me.
